The most incredible time staying on a beautiful houseboat (Chalaryi) and cruising the backwaters of Kerala. The team (Sony, Manoj, JJ and Joby) were amazing, so attentive to our every need. The chef prepared the most wonderful meals, and we loved trying the traditional food, tailored to our specific tastes! They were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was a trouble and we felt so comfortable and safe under their care. We would highly recommend Xandari because of the wonderful experience the team provided us with! The facilities exceeded our expectations - the room was so comfortable, beyond many hotels! There was AC and a well equipped bathroom with everything we needed! We truly felt spoiled in this authentic but luxurious, very unique experience! We will definitely return! Our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer and book several nights! Thank you so much for everything - it was truly perfect!

I strongly recommend this experiece. Views are beautifull and the staff very profetional. In addition, I am celiac and they coocked everything for us gluten free. They had aknowledge about this diet (which is very weard in that area) and they adabted all meals.

We had an incredible 1 night experience with Xandari. The boat was clean, comfortable and safe, food was delicious, and the standout was the service. Our crew of Aneesh, Arun and Kannan was kind, friendly, informative and above what we expected. Thank you to the team for making our experience so special! This experience was one of the highlights of our month long trip to India - not just because of the beautiful surroundings, but because of our outstanding crew - Sony, Sujith and Sasi. From the moment we stepped on board we were looked after like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. Sony and Sasi navigated the backwaters and gave us an excellent commentary of the extraordinary bird life and took us to the amazing St. Mary's Basilica and the local area around it. A huge shout out to our chef Sujith. The food was stunning and the dishes were different at each meal. When he noticed that I am not good with chilli, he made a separate non spicy biryani for me. He spent hours preparing our food to an incredibly high standard. We had a one bedroom houseboat. The bed was really comfy and the shower room was fine. The seating area further forward was super and the dining room was great. We would have been quite happy to float around in this boat for a week or more.

This overnight stay on the Xandari houseboat was the perfect end to our trip to India. Only sorry it wasn’t longer; next time! The boat was so comfortable and the staff onboard who looked after us were 100% professional and so kind. Had the best sleep on a very comfortable bed and bathroom/shower facilities very efficient considering being on a boat. 100% recommend this company. Special thanks to our crew Satheesh, Rejeesh and Vennu. We will be back!
